Question 1

What is Forge?

Accepted Answer

Forge is field service software for contractors: jobs, crew, time tracking, receipts, quotes, invoices, and payroll. Built by Kin Labs in Edmonton around the daily work of the business.

Question 2

What's the difference between Lite and Forge?

Accepted Answer

Lite is owner-only — one login, full CRM, capped AI — $23.99/mo USD. Forge is unlimited crew, unlimited AI, time tracking, payroll, and the Agent API for $49.99/mo USD.

Question 3

Is pricing per user or per company?

Accepted Answer

Per company. Lite is one seat. Forge is one flat price for the whole crew. No per-seat fees on Forge.

Question 4

Do I still need a pile of other apps?

Accepted Answer

Forge is the daily system — quotes, jobs, hours, receipts, invoices, and payroll. Your accountant still gets clean numbers because the same data isn't bouncing between logins.

Question 5

Can I import my existing clients?

Accepted Answer

CSV import on the Clients page brings in clients and their properties. For a fuller migration, email hello@kin.team.

Question 6

How do I connect an AI agent to Forge?

Accepted Answer

Create an API key in Settings → API Keys. Preferred developer path is POST /api/v1/agent/run. See https://forge.kin.team/developers.

Question 7

Can I cancel anytime?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Cancel from Settings → Billing, effective at the end of the current billing period.
